The AI Co-pilot for Clinicians
Representing a paradigm shift in how clinicians consult with patients, and assimilate and transcribe that information, I-scribe by Akuru is an AI transcription software that converts consultations into accurate, natural outputs including medical notes, referrer and referral letters and summary letters to patients, within seconds of a consult finishing. Founded by a group of doctors, including Dr Paul Paddle, and IT engineers, this software is rapidly evolving to change the face of medical consultation and patient engagement.

After successfully winning a place in the prestigious Melbourne Accelerator Programme (MAP) in 2017, Healium patient education software was developed. Healium grew from a desire to help clinicians deliver to their patients, customised videos, checklists and information to their phones, at time critical points in their operative care journeys. Since then, Healium has been deployed in numerous practices, and various sub-specialties. It's potential to engage patients in other clinical and research settings is also being studied.

I am the Co-founder, and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Nebula Health. Founded in 2016, Nebula Health is a medical marketing company run by physicians, for physicians. It brings together clinicians, marketing professionals and IT developers to help clients grow their practice by attracting new patients, and educating & delighting their existing patients.

Home Sleep Screening
Providing ENT care in regional and rural Victoria, it was apparent that the great distances involved were often a barrier or impediment to access to healthcare. Heali-Ox is a home delivery sleep apnoea screening service for children which has been piloted & researched in Victoria. Using our learnings in patient education videos and software, and portable hardware delivery, it is a response to the observed hardships and limitations of patients and families travelling great distances to receive the same standard care that their urban counterparts have. The TGA approved kit is now available now for delivery to patients nationwide through a GP or Dentist referral.
